Funkey Monkey or Funkey for short is just a regular old monkey who was recruited to become a detective! Funkey can be understood by most but not the viewer... for, some reason. This bright little furball usually knows just the thing to solve the crime, not really though because he sucks at his job just like Ring-Tailed!

Detective Ring-Tailed Lemur or Ring-Tailed for short, a lone-wolf turned partner. He hates Funkey at first but grows to accept him. Ring-Tailed SUCKS at his job but manages to get it done somehow... He's dedicated but also lazy and respects the chief when he's in his presence.
