I started sewing about the age of four in my grandmothers basement on her treadle, Singer sewing machine. She would have me sew up any ripped seams in our clothes. As I grew up and had children of my own, I loved making dresses for my three daughters.
Today, I enjoy making beautiful aprons, decorative pillow covers, table cloths, doll clothes, microwave cozy's and garden aprons. I find putting fabrics together and seeing the finished result is very satisfying and I love doing it.
You have an option to create any of the above items as custom pieces. If you're interested in this, please email me by clicking the "get in touch" button below.
When I was very young, a lady gave me a couple pieces of pastel chalk and encouraged me to draw what i saw. Sitting at her dining room table that afternoon I did my first drawing of a field of trees covered with snow. From that time forward art became my passion.
I never had any formal training in drawing or painting, but I did have encouragement. I had a teacher that told me I had talent and not to waste it.
