Reading Workshop

Welcome to Reading Workshop! We are going to have so much fun this year exploring the world through books. Our goal is to foster a love of reading in each and every student. We will be reading on a daily basis, so be sure to bring 1-2 books to class each day. For online ease, we have access to thousands of books on EPIC during our distance learning times. You will be required to respond to your reading daily and participate in weekly reading conferences with your homeroom teacher. Each quarter we will try to invite a guest reader into the classroom to share a little bit about their love for reading and some of their favorite books. We will also be doing a variety of projects this year (both digital and physical). I look forward to this year with you!.

• EPIC: Students will have access to thousands of books on Epic while at home.

• LIBRARY: Please feel free to utilize the library catalog to see what books we have in the library. If there is something you are looking for please reach out to me or Mrs. Sobers so we can find it for you!
