• Chairman of the Department Research & Consultancy Cell (DRCC) from 15/02/2022  to 22/06/2023

• Ph.D. Coordinator of the Dept. from 17/05/2021 to 28/05/2023 [Office Order - MED/340/2021-22, 13/05/2021].

• Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering  from 15th April, 2019 to 15th April, 2021.  Major works carried out during the tenure -

- Two faculty recruitment drives were conducted successfully, and 23 new Assistant Professors were inducted in the department

- Online classes and other arrangments were made in the department during COVID lockdown period. Also,  sincere efforts were made to fabricate COVID protective face-  

        masks and face-shields in the Additive Manufacturing Lab of the department with the cooperation of Ph.D. & M.Tech. students and colleagues, to handover to the mess staff, 

        security guards, local police, and hospital staff.

-  Two years' extension of NBA accreditation for B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineeering) was obtained

- Academic audit of the department was conducted successfully

• Member, Technical Committee of Centralised Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. (CCMT) during 2016, 2018. 2020, and 2021 for PG admissions in all NITs (30), some IIITs and CFTIs. 

• PG Incharge, M.Tech. CAD-CAM from 12th January, 2018 to 6th May, 2019.  

• Chairman, Local Organising Committee & Technical Committee of CCMT 2017 for PG admissions in all NITs (30), IIITs (04) and CFTIs (07).
