ASHP helps its members advocate and support the professional practice of pharmacists in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care clinics, and other settings spanning the full spectrum of medication use. ASHP serves its members as their collective voice on issues related to medication use and public health.

ASHP represents pharmacists who serve as patient care providers in acute and ambulatory settings. The organization’s nearly 50,000 members include pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. For more than 75 years, ASHP has been at the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety.

NYSCHP is the state’s premier provider of information, training, and legislative representation for New York State’s health-system pharmacists.

Approximately 2000 members including health system pharmacists faculty and students are members of The New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists (NYSCHP). NYSCHP is your representation regarding constantly changing legislative and regulatory issues on both the state and national government level, and provides members the opportunity to join grass-roots movements for your voice to be heard in those arenas. The Council offers Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) continuing education courses to fulfill your career requirements, and is the premier provider of state-wide conferences, training programs, and meetings throughout the year for health-system pharmacists to network and learn.
