Welcome to Reading in 3rd Grade! We will be implementing reading strategies and skills through a variety of chapter books. Our spelling and vocabulary words will come directly from four novels, which are listed below. The books we will be reading are listed on the website below
Charlotte's Web
This is the book we read first in class. We have completed this book
We will read approximately 4 to 5 chapters per week, followed by a Quiz to check for understanding.
Students will receive packets to cover the chapters. These packets will include vocabulary, literary skills, and writing activities that will be used for in class and homework assignments
