Join us for Blessed Is She's Misericordia: A Study on the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy on Wednesday evenings June 3rd-August 26th, 7pm, in the Chapel at St. John Paul II. Each session begins with a “Holy Woman of God” so we will also close each week learning about the works of mercy & service of different Saints! This study will guide us in taking small but meaningful steps toward living a more merciful life, deepening our understanding of love in action.
"The works of mercy are charitable actions by which we come to the aid of our neighbor in his spiritual and bodily necessities. Instructing, advising, consoling, comforting are spiritual works of mercy, as are forgiving and bearing wrongs patiently. the corporal works of mercy consist especially in feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and burying the dead. Among all these, giving alms to the poor is one of the chief witnesses to fraternal charity: it is also a work of justice pleasing to God." - CCC 2447

Join the Moms Ministry for a service opportunity to support the Catholic Charities Food Pantry on Tuesday, June 23rd! The group will help bag donations that will later be distributed to families in need of food assistance.
