SJ Ministries Uganda: Serving in Hardship,Sparking Hope
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."_____Mathew 25:35
At SJ Ministries Uganda, we really dont just read these words but we live them. Even in the hardest moments , we serve. A mattress given to someone who once shivered on the floor. A meal shared with a family who had given up hope.
Pads provided to protect girl`s dignity and future. These are not just acts of kindness but they are acts of faith.
And GOD is Faithful.
We have seen the youth once lost in despair now leading worship ,sharing their testimonies with great courage.
We have watched widows rise ,not just surviving but starting small businesses to help others.
We have also witnessed girls stay in school, graduate ,and return to mentor the next generation.
One young man Joseph came to us with nothing but a torn shirt and an empty stomach. Today he leads our youth counselling group, telling others,
"I was seen, I was loved . Now I want todo the same."
Education is freedom
We believe every child deserves a chance. That's why we always provide books, pens, and pencils surely they are simple tools that open doors. But for some, the need is greater. That's where full sponsorship comes in and our donors always support by supporting with $40 per month. And also some donors support by just providing funds for books, pencils and other scholastic materials like uniform and school fees for some children if at all the donor cannot be able to sponsor/offer full sponsorship but interested in supporting our work in our ministry.
We are deeply grateful for our passionate friends from Georgia especially Cindy Pazdernik and her daughter Angie for the continued support towards the ministry through the continued guidance of our lord Jesus Christ. These Friends stepped in to fully support our work and also are sponsoring children in need.
Because of them, children are clothed , fed, and are in school, and also growing in faith. One sponsored girl, Patience Says,"I used to worry about tomorrow, now I dream about becoming a nurse by God's grace."
"Train up a child in the way he should go,and when he is old,he will not depart from it." _Proverbs 22:6
This is the ripple effect of compassion: one act of love ignites a chain of hope, faith and service that never ends.
We Need You.
Your support through prayer, partnership, or provision keeps this light burning.
A mattress restores dignity, a pack of pads protects the future of the girl, a dozen of books opens up a child's mind, and a sponsorship changes a life forever.
Pray for our team and those we serve.
Give what you can because no gift is too small.
Share these stories. let the world see what love in action looks like.
"Let us not grow weary in doing good , for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."___ _Galatians 6:9
Together, we are not just meeting needs, but we are igniting a movement of hope, faith, and service that will outlive us all.
With deep gratitude,
