Where Does Our Money Go?

The PTO is constantly looking for ways to raise money to better our school, our students' experiences, and our teachers' lives.  We use the money raised to fund many different events, needs, experiences, and just for a much needed and deserved brain break for our students and staff!

Some things we have done with our monies raised just this year are:

1. We paid for the Accelerated Reading subscription for the entire school.

2. We paid for the Accelerated Reading shirts earned by students for hitting their AR goals.

3. We paid for a yearly subscription to the Scholastic Newsletter for the 2021-2022 year.

4. We provided a Tears and Cheers breakfast for all of our Kindergarten parents.

5. We paid for teacher enrichment education opportunities (Example: Get Your Teach On).

6. We purchased more Chromebooks for our students.

7. We put on the Breakfast with Santa school community event and supplemented the added cost for all of the activities.

8. We provided a holiday breakfast for the staff to kick up the Christmas spirit.

9. We provided holiday gifts for all staff members.

10. Provide staff appreciation gifts for all staff in the spring.

Some things we currently have on our list for this year are:

1. Continue providing funds through our Mini-Grant program.

2. Continue helping with teacher supplements at the beginning of each year.

3. Begin new traditions and bring back old traditions of community events for our students and families.
