UNHumanRightsCaribbean – CARICOM Regional Office invites primary and secondary school students across the Caribbean to take part in our Human Rights Day 2025 Photo Competition under the theme: “Human Rights: Our Everyday Essentials.”

Competition Rules
• All video submissions are to be no longer than one minute.
⦁ All video submission must be placed in the comment section of this post (on Facebook). The entries with the most likes would receive one of the prizes up for grabs.
• All submission must be in alignment with the above stated theme of the competition and must contain a reference to the theme stated.
• Submissions must be performed by the child, should have the child’s name and age.
• Each participant is allowed to submit one entry.
• All entries must be an original composition by the child.
• All submissions must be free of racist, obscene language or behaviour illegal or otherwise inappropriate. Videos submitted with such content will be automatically disqualified.
• No copyrighted materials (music, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyright materials.
• No professional assistance is allowed. Adults may assist with recording but are limited to verbal guidance only.
• Deadline for Submissions: Please note that the deadline for all submission is Wednesday 31st December, 2025 at 11:59PM. Submissions after this date and time will not be acknowledged.
• Children of employees of the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago are not eligible to enter this competition.
• The Children’s Authority reserves the right to use the submitted video for promotion after the competition; artists will however be given due credit.
• Any participant found to be in breach of the guidelines herein stated will be disqualified.
