Pre-law advising program for underrepresented community college students
A partnership between 28 California community colleges and the State Bar of California has created a “pipeline program” that will offer community college students a host of resources to help them achieve their dream of practicing law. From tutoring and mentoring services to financial aid counseling and early exposure to law-related courses, the program aims to increase access to law school for under-represented students.
San Jose City College believes in and practices equity. Students who are interested in pre-law advising should apply to the program. While not all students may qualify for Pathway Scholar designation, all students deserve access to pre-law advising and events. A link to the application is below.
