About Us

The St. James Bethel Missionary Baptist Church was founded in 1991 by the late Pastor James D. Broome and Mrs. Hullie P. Broome. After Pastor J.D. Broome's passing in 1999, his son, Herbert J. Broome followed as Pastor. Pastor Herbert and his wife, Mrs. Emelle W. Broome currently serve as our leaders.4

The Church was founded upon the scripture James 1:22, with goal of being doers and not hearers of the word only. Our Motto is to "Go". Our theme song is "This Little Light of Mine".
