To make a map with student info on it:

Here's a link to the Google form I used. It will force you to make a copy so you can make your own questions, etc. When you make a link for your students it needs to be in "View" mode and then you can copy and make a bitly (if you want). After you get responses make it into a sheet (on the response page) and then go to "Google my maps" and import the info. Make another bitly from the map so the students can see it and play with it.

I followed up with having the students find information like who has the most children, who likes classical music... They made a chart to fill in to get the answers.....
