CBLG hosted the 16th Australasian Trade Workshop (ATW) at JCU Bada-jali Campus, Cairns City, on 18-19 March 2023. The ATW is an annual conference of trade economists (JEL‐Classification F0 to F2) in Australasia that is hosted by a different university in the region each year, co-ordinated by Martin Richardson (Australian National University) and Frank Stähler (University of Tübingen, Germany) and Benedikt Heid (University of Adelaide).
It featured a keynote speaker, Associate Professor Arpita Chatterjee from University of New South Wales, who gave a keynote talk on Productivity and Quality of Multi-Product Firms.
