Hey Ya'll,

Adam here from Six Strings and Bourbon. Just a bit about myself and my musical journey.

First, the quick story behind the name. Two things I love that I found go together quite nicely-- My six string guitar with a small glass of my favorite bourbon.

I am a father of two grown children and the grandfather to two young boys, Miles and Leo. I have been married to my high school sweetheart and best friend for 25 years. I grew up on a farm in western Frederick County, Virginia in a family who played music quite often at family events and gatherings. I am certain it's where I caught the bug to pick up a guitar at the age of 17 and join in. I was a huge country music fan growing up in the 80's and found bluegrass around the time I picked up a guitar and still love to play and sing all those favorites of mine that I grew up on. I love all types of music and I am always looking for something new and authentic to listen to and share. I enjoy performing and sharing the music I love with those willing to listen.
