OVERVIEW
Six Cups respects your privacy. We designed this app to track your wellness, not your personal identity. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or contact list. We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use advertising or tracking identifiers.
DATA WE COLLECT AND USE
To make the app function, we collect the following data which is linked to a generated Anonymous User ID:
Activity logs and descriptions
Hormone/neurotransmitter levels
Streak counts and quest progress
Calculated weekly statistics
We use this data solely to sync your progress across sessions and provide the core features of the app.
AI ANALYSIS
If you use the custom activity feature, the text description you write is sent to OpenAI (our AI provider) to estimate the neurochemical impact. We do not send your User ID or any personal information to OpenAI; only the text of the activity is shared for analysis.
DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored securely in the cloud using Supabase. All data is encrypted during transmission.
Some data, such as your notification preferences and onboarding status, is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your data as long as you use the app. Because we use anonymous authentication, you can access your data simply by opening the app.
To delete your data, you can request deletion by contacting support. Uninstalling the app removes local data but cloud data may persist unless a deletion request is made.
CHILDREN
Six Cups is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
CHANGES TO POLICY
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app signifies your acceptance of any changes.
