This Privacy Policy explains how Techtenstein Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Six Pack Abs – Home Workout app ("the App") on Android devices.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Important: Almost all data you enter into the App — workout history, weight, BMI, progress photos, reminders — is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. We do not require you to create an account.
A. Data You Provide (Stored Locally on Your Device Only)
Body weight and height — used for BMI calculation and weight tracking chart
Workout history and completed days — used for calendar history and streak tracking
Progress photos — used for visual body transformation tracking
Workout streak data — used for streak counter, best streak, and motivation
28-day challenge progress — used to track your current day in each challenge
Custom workout routines — used to save your personally built workout plans
Reminder and alarm preferences — used to schedule your daily workout reminders
Unit preference (metric or imperial) — used to display units throughout the App
Rest time preference — used for the workout rest timer setting
None of the above is sent to our servers. It lives only on your device.
B. Data Collected Automatically (by Google AdMob)
Android Advertising ID (AAID)
Device model and OS version
Approximate location (IP-based, coarse only)
Network connectivity type
Ad impressions and click events
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location.
INTERNET
Required to load advertisements via Google AdMob.
CAMERA
Lets you take progress photos within the App. Photos are saved only on your device and are never uploaded.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Checks internet connectivity before requesting ads.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Sends daily workout reminders (Android 13+). You can turn these off anytime in device Settings.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
Schedules your workout reminder at the exact time you chose.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Re-schedules your reminder after a device reboot so it is not lost.
WAKE_LOCK
Keeps the screen on during an active workout so it does not dim or lock mid-exercise.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Keeps the workout timer running reliably in the foreground.
AD_ID (Google)
Accesses the Android Advertising ID for personalised ads via AdMob. You can reset or opt out in Google Settings on your device.
We use collected information only for the following purposes:
To run the core features of the App
To send workout reminders you have opted into
To display ads via Google AdMob (this keeps the App free)
To calculate BMI and workout statistics locally on your device
To display your streak, history, and progress photos
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data for external marketing. We do not share your data outside of what is listed in this policy.
The App does not require you to sign in or create an account. All personal fitness data is stored only in your device's local storage (SQLite database and SharedPreferences).
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. We cannot recover it.
Progress photos are stored in the App's private internal storage and are not accessible to other apps, and are not backed up to cloud services by us.
Google Play Services
Standard Android platform services. May collect device diagnostics. See: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google AdMob

Android Text-to-Speech (TTS) Engine
Your device's built-in TTS engine announces exercise names during workouts. This is processed entirely on-device. No audio data is transmitted by us.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Mixpanel.
The App is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
AdMob may collect and use:
Android Advertising ID
Device identifiers and model
IP address (for approximate location)
App usage events (ad views and clicks)
Network and connectivity data

Android 12 and above: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID
Older Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at contact@techtenstein.com and we will delete it promptly.
European Users (GDPR — EEA, UK, Switzerland)
You have the right to:
Access personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data — uninstall the App or go to Android Settings → Apps → Six Pack Abs → Clear Data
Object to data processing for advertising purposes
Portability — receive a copy of your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time
Our legal basis for AdMob data processing is Legitimate Interests (funding the free App through advertising) and Consent where required by law.
California Users (CCPA)
You have the right to:
Know what personal information is collected about you
Know if your data is sold or shared and to whom
Opt out of the sale of personal information
Request deletion of your personal information
Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Since most data is stored only on your device, its security depends on your device's own settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Because the App does not transmit your personal fitness data to any server, the main risk to that data is physical access to your device.
All App data on your device is kept until you:
Uninstall the App
Clear App data via Android Settings → Apps → Clear Data
Manually delete individual items (e.g., progress photos) within the App
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google's own retention policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy. For significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or Play Store listing.
