Along with my career as an academician I am an active researcher in the area of Embedded Systems & IoT.

My current research interests includes Embedded Systems, IoT, Electric Vehicles, Smart Grid Robotics, ADAS, Vehicular Networks, Cyber Physical Systems and AI/ML applications.

I am an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. I have over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership in Embedded Systems and allied domains.

I have led and contributed to several funded research and consultancy projects and actively develops experimental platforms and laboratory infrastructure for hands-on engineering education. My work emphasizes translating theoretical concepts into deployable systems and practical learning environments.

I teach courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and mentors student research and design projects. I am the recipient of the Best Faculty Award (EEE) based on student feedback and am committed to student-centric teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and outcome-driven engineering education.

Co-PI of SERB CRG funded project on "Development of a Hybrid Inverted Pendulum on wheels and Hopper based Dual Locomotion Assistive Robot (HIP-HOP Robot)".
Co-PI of MSME funded development of "Smart EV sharing infrastructure with solar powered EV Battery swapping/charging stations".
Co-PI of the collaborative project, “Development and Prototyping of ICT enabled Smart Charging Network Components”, funded by DHI-DST.
