My research interests are to develop structural systems with superior engineering properties using cutting-edge technologies based on emerging concepts like origami engineering, mechanical metamaterials, topology optimization, and 3D printing.

Nov 01, 2021: Our work on "Origami Metamaterials with Near-Constant Poisson Functions Over
Finite Strains", published in the Journal of Engineering Mechanics (JEM), ASCE, has
been selected as the Editor's Choice and is featuring at the Journal webpage.
Oct 08, 2021: Published our work on “Adaptable and Robust Origami Metamaterials with
Controllable Poisson’s Ratio over Large Deformations” in the National Conference

May 27, 2020 - Selected as the Winner of the ASCE EMI 2020 Elasticity Student Paper Competition

Ratio over Large Strain".
