I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Bombay and an associated faculty member of the Koita Center for Digital Health at IIT Bombay. I am currently co-leading the National Disease Modelling Consortium (NDMC) anchored at IIT Bombay.

My research interests span statistics, biostatistics, disease modelling, and health informatics. Together with my PhD and postdoctoral students, I work on developing statistical and computational methods for infectious disease research, with a particular focus on spatio-temporal modelling, sampling methodologies, network models, and risk-scoring approaches for geospatial studies. My research also focuses on modelling strategies for the control and elimination of infectious diseases, particularly measles and rotavirus in India.
