Davynn has been babysitting for about 4 years and mothers helping for about 6 years. Lily has been babysitting for about 2 years and mothers helping for about 4 years.
The latest that you can book us is 1 hour in advanced, no earlier.
It depends on the babysitter you get, Davynn likes to play board games or do fashion shows with the kids, and Lily likes to create new fun games with the kids.
Both Davynn and Lily are very comfortable with enforcing household rules.
If they are not going to bed at the bedtime that the parent/guardian gives us than we will try to make them sleep, by reading them books or promising something reasonable to get the kids to sleep.
We handle discipline and behavior issue differently depending on the issue both Davynn and Lily look at the issue at hand, if it is not violent, tries to de-escalate the situation and find a reasonable situation to solve the problem at hand. If it gets violent then time-out for the children, and they have to apologize and hug it out.
Yes, both Davynn and Lily are trained in first aid and CPR.
If it is a small allergic reaction, like forgetting to take a pill, or a small injury, like scraping your knee, then we will call the parents/guardians to inform you or just wait until they get home to inform them, if it is a serious allergic reaction or injury than we will call 911 first, than the parents/guardians to make sure that you know, and give the address of the hospital (most likely New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, if you live int he building)
Yes, we can, the references are in the review section of the booking page, Customer Review | Sitter Sisters Babysitting Booking PageÂ
If your child is refusing to cooperate than we will try to see the reason why they are refusing to cooperate, and either try to help them through it there is an actual reason for not doing it or give them a time-out. If your child become upset, we will try to relieve them and make them feel comfortable with us.
