A community center with Navigating Agro Farming through Atrium Design as a Daylighting Strategy to enhance the Wellness Living of Kampung Bharu
Kampung Bharu is a traditional Malay settlement and known as agricultural land in the heart of the city Kuala Lumpur in past time, is a unique example of the struggle to preserve its local identity. The local community posses skill and spend time in agro farming as part of social culture activities and daily business in past time. However, current commercial land tittle of Kampung Bharu is limit the progression of communal agro farming spaces to merge by the local community. In this case, reviving back social culture through agro farming activity can bring back nostalgia to farmers and local communities of Kampung Bharu to enhance their traditional lifestyle in Urban City. Agro Farm Community Market in the city is important to highlight because it help communities to create a chain of food production by their own every day, create sense of community and strengthen their economic stability.
