Effective Date: May 2026
Adam Beynon ("we", "us", or "our") built the SiteSnap app as a Commercial/Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by us and is intended for use "as is".
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information.
Account Information: To use SiteSnap, you must create an account. We collect your email address and authentication credentials via Google Firebase Authentication to secure your account and sync your data.
App Data (Audits & Templates): The text, templates, action plans, and company details you input into the app are stored securely on Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. This allows your data to sync across devices and ensures it is not lost if you change devices.
Camera and Photo Library Access: SiteSnap requires access to your device's camera and photo library to allow you to attach "Proof Photos" and "Title Photos" to your audits, as well as to upload custom company logos for your PDF reports. These images are uploaded and stored securely on Google Firebase Storage solely for the purpose of generating your customized reports.
Location Data (GPS): If you utilize the "GPS Location" field within your audit templates, the app will request access to your device's location. This data is used strictly to record the coordinates of the audit and is stored within your audit data. We do not track your location continuously in the background.
Files and Storage: The app requires storage permissions to save generated PDF Analytics and Audit Reports directly to your local device.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We use these services for database hosting, secure login, and processing payments.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This is used solely to fix bugs and improve app stability.
SiteSnap offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock "SiteSnap PRO". All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details, billing address, or financial information. We only receive a secure token from Google confirming your purchase status to unlock premium lifetime features within the app.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Google's Firebase infrastructure. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We retain your personal data and audit history for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.
