Picture this: You have a long landing page... and you want your video to stay visible while people scroll.
Putting a play button right at the top - always there, always ready - turns out to be a massive engagement boost. (Ask me how I know ๐)When I first added a PiP (Picture-in-Picture) video to one of my Google Sites projects, people noticed right away. Emails started flying in:โHow did you do that?!โ โIs that even possible on Google Sites?!โWell... what can I say. ๐ย Of course I made it happen.I built a custom code that lets you add a video that pops up in the bottom right corner.ย With SitesBuddy's PiP Video Widget, you can:โ Use any .mp4 video hosted with a direct linkโ Customize the play button colorโ Match the video player's style to your website's colorsโ And it just works!Thereโs only one thing you need to know:๐ The video must be hosted somewhere as an .mp4 file. I tried using Google Drive videos at first - but can't be done.Personally, I host my videos on my Shopify and Cloudflare accounts where I can simply copy the .mp4 URL. But you can use any hosting solution that gives you a direct video link.ย
