I have always been passionate about reading and learning new things, so for me, joining IN SIGHT meant that I could read what others found good, or recommended reading including articles, books, etc. Also, I could hear what people had to say on various topics, leading to meaningful discussions which was a wonderful learning experience. It helped me see things in a different light and understand the thought process of people. More than anything, the members have shared their knowledge, tips, advice and quotes that they have themselves found useful in life.
IN SIGHT has helped me look at things I generally may not pay attention to and analyze them. It has helped me see things with a broader perspective. You can relate to things and feel diversity at the same time and it leaves me feeling enlightened. I have become more objective and confident due to the space that prevails, non-judgemental and open to any discussion with flexible participation. I am grateful and happy to be a part of IN SIGHT and look forward to sustaining the growth that started with it in the pool of different ideas, perceptions, knowledge and creative inclination.
IN SIGHT gave me an opportunity to interact with people from different domains, and discuss ideas which deeply affect most of us. It reinforces how important discussions are, and we get to learn a lot of new things and see things from a different perspective. I believe IN SIGHT is a community of people who want self growth as well as growth of the whole community around them, and we will soon be touching the lives of hundreds of people.
This one year with IN SIGHT has not only added to my knowledge but it has also changed my perspective on some things for good.
The case discussions have always been fun!
And Yugal has been doing a great job as a founder, mentor and a friend. He has always been generous and accessible.
So the journey started off with a random message on my group in my second year in college. Among all the messages from god knows how many societies there was this one particular message which caught my attention. I don't know why it was a rather long one with a link to a Google form attached to it. I starred that message hoping to fill the form later. I filling them for other societies at that time, it was all the same, they asked for Roll no., Name, Course, etc. But this particular form had really intriguing questions which got me digging my brain. That's how the journey began, making me interested to be in the group at any cost. That was the day I started to learn and I have never stopped since then. It's been a fabulous journey, though I have missed out on a few highs at times, but was always comfortable with all of them. I guess the comfort I talk about is due to our captain, Mr Yugal Sehgal who has been there to guide us and scold us whenever we took things leniently. The stuff we read here is what we generally don't get to read or find out for ourselves but is usually related to the normal things that we do daily. This group has given me great IN SIGHT into life and the ways of living it by having more than one perspective to a problem. So I am grateful to be a part of it and love all my group members.
It has been a great journey at IN SIGHT with the kind of people from different backgrounds and walks of life coming together to share and learn. It has helped me expand my horizon of interpreting and understanding about various concepts. Especially the kind of case studies we do and the varied responses that we get, it really helps one grow!
IN SIGHT has not only been a journey full of knowledge but also meeting the most genuine people and learning their views. All the case studies we discussed throughout the year, albeit about the business world, taught us more about life. This initiative helped us build a family of knowledge seekers and a platform for open minded people. It was the most insightful ride (pun intended) and I am grateful that I got to be a part of it.
