The Scientific Department is the primary department responsible for conducting tests and research on the anomalies contained within Site-Phoenix.
Personnel within this department are tasked with analyzing anomalous properties and documenting findings to further the Foundation’s understanding of each SCP. Their work is essential in ensuring safe containment and improving already existing containment protocols.
Additionally, they are authorized to conduct chemical research within their designated laboratory.

Personnel must hold Level-1 Clearance and successfully pass the Scientific Department application to be inducted into the department.
