Casually been adding dozens of new links over the past few days. Lots of new stuff.
Happy new year. A bunch of new sites added. Considering moving to either Neocities or GitHub Pages.
Right before new years, with a few new updates mostly related to AI and blogs.
Been adding more websites over the past month with the most significant addition of this year.
Added a bunch of websites and mostly categorised the uncategorised stuff in my browsing history. Added the personal website section and added a significant amount of blogs and random sites that people have made, most of which have likely not been seen by many people. One of the best sides to the internet...
It's Canada Day and I've added a bunch of new sites that I have found. Mostly in Utilities and Entertainment, enjoy. Also added a bunch to Misc.
Decided to consolidate some categories and get rid of future ones, for the sake of streamlining the archive. Added a handful of nice websites I have been meaning to add for the past couple of months, with this case being that I never had enough sites to add or the time to actually update the archive.
Added new websites to the utilities section and one to the emulation section. Expect more websites soon.
Added a few websites, notably updated the utils section with some nice web browsers. Looking to add a few more I'll find in the next few days.
Came back a few days later to add more news organizations to the news section. Added WikiLeaks and a successor to it as well as organizations known for their reliability. They can be checked with Ad Fontes' media bias check.
Thought it would be good to add these... I would be careful about calling these new sources completely accurate/factual or completely biased. Generally they are known to not take sides in most instances. The BBC or NPR for example. I will look into the viability of adding the .onion urls of these organizations.
Updated the bookmarks page to include relatively known and interesting websites that I forgot to add, including Akinator, Open Insider, and Chess.com.
Finding new websites is a pain at the moment, there isn't much to look for. I will obviously find new places on the internet, but that is slowing down. Given that I only update once a month now, it is clearly harder to find unique websites.
Going to see if I can include an "Apps" section. There are some good apps on both iOS and Android. Since I use iOS as a daily driver for my mobile devices I will list more iOS apps, but if I can find a good Android app I will 100% include it.
I'm going to also try to make a similar website on NeoCities so I can use my own HTML instead of Google's locked down proprietary service. I won't move there, it will just serve as more of an alternative.
April update coming...
NOTE: Made a mistake with the US national debt clock. I thought I didn't add it yet and so I added it to the business section forgetting that it was originally in the entertainment section. Fixed, it remains in the entertainment section. Might break up the entertainment section in April since it's getting rather large.
Just checking in for the month. I haven't been able to add much to this since I haven't come across anything too interesting and I've been busy. I'll continue looking for more material in the coming month.
Just finished updating the website with more than a dozen links to various obscure websites I've found scrolling through some archives. I've added a sort of miscellaneous section for websites I just want to dump temporarily while I go through a dozen more. I'll be looking for more of these.
Updates: Added a few new websites and particularly archive.org software
