EXPLORATION LOG 7316-XU-85X

One night during one of his routine hunting trips to the [REDACTED] part of the nearby mountain, he heard a distant roar. Cheetah didn't think anything of this and simply went towards it, thinking it was a wolf. But when he got closer, he noticed a small cave entrance where the roar seemed to be located. He was skeptical at first but proceeded to enter the cave. Once he entered, the temperature swiftly changed, and his thermometer fluctuated to a point where no temperature was readable. Cheetah was visibly confused but intrigued at the same time. This was the most action he had experienced in a while. So, stupidly enough, he proceeded down into the cave. Around 5 minutes of walking later, he noticed a faint glow down in the cave. Cheetah simply thought this was another exit and went straight towards it. As he passed a corner, he noticed a large creature embedded in what looked like a thick layer of ice. He was immediately stunned by the sight and proceeded to take out his camera and take pictures. Cheetah knew that this was nothing like he had ever seen or read about before, and was confident it was not from this planet. Cheetah started on and off doing experiments at the cave, taking samples from the ice the creature was embedded in, cross-examining it with his biology books, and taking radiation and Hume levels of the area. He noted all of this down on his laptop.

RECRUITMENT TO THE FOUNDATION

But one night on his way back to the cave, Cheetah was approached by a secret USSR military organization called [REDACTED]. This organization was not popular amongst the citizens of Yakutsk, as they had been known for being cold in tone, emotionally dead, and violent. But due to Cheetah’s uncertainty about the situation, and his worries that it might be about his discoveries in the cave, he proceeded to follow their directives. Cheetah was picked up in a shady military van outside of his home. Once he was in the van, he was driven [REDACTED] amount of hours away, up the [REDACTED] side of the mountain, without the soldiers in the van making a single sound during the entire trip. At the end of the trip, they arrived at a military base at the top of a mountain. Cheetah was escorted by two armed guards into the military base. He was brought to an office where he got sat down and greeted by a man only currently known as [REDACTED]. Cheetah had been told that they had been looking into his research on the cave. Cheetah was visibly confused as he had never shared this information with anyone, so he kindly asked, “How do you know about this?” The man in front of him simply chuckled and said, “We know everything.” Cheetah was briefed about the so-called military base he was brought to and was told it was a type of research facility called Site-[REDACTED], one out of [REDACTED] amount of facilities belonging to something called the SCP Foundation. The man in front of Cheetah got straight to the point, saying they were interested in his work and wanted him to join them. Cheetah asked, “What would I be doing if I worked for you?” The man answered, “You would be our lead field scientist, conducting the necessary experiments on the creature you found in the cave, or more formally known by its SCP designation [Ḍ̶̊̚Ǎ̸̙̟̀͝T̷̼̮͊A̶̫̕ ̷̛͙͘Ȇ̵̛͇̥̰̋X̸̭̓P̶̢͉̮̀̎̄Ṵ̵́Ń̵̻̥G̸͖͕͆͜E̶̞͚̞̔D̸̜͕̓] .” Cheetah hesitated, but due to his curiosity about his discoveries, he agreed.
