Meet our puppy graduates! We are so happy to share the success stories of the pups I've had the privilege to work with. Check out their awesome stories and what they've accomplished! 🩵🐾
Meet Candy!
This beautiful black Labrador Retriever completed her training at 3 months old, and she's extra special because she's Brielle's second puppy being raised for The Seeing Eye! Candy's biggest challenge was her bouncy greetings, but with consistent training and lots of love, she's now a pro at keeping all four paws on the ground when meeting new friends. This means she'll be an even better, safer companion for her future blind or visually impaired partner. We are so thrilled with how far she's come!
Meet Mismo!
This handsome 4-month-old Pitbull x Mastiff mix was one of Brielle's foster puppies who quickly learned the ropes during training. Mismo's main challenge was his habit of nipping during play and excitement. Since he's growing to be such a large and powerful dog, teaching him bite control was a top priority. With dedicated practice Mismo has truly transformed! He now understands how to keep his teeth off skin and is developing wonderful impulse control, ensuring he grows into a well-mannered and cherished family member.
Meet Hawk!
We first found Hawk as a stray in our backyard in January 2025, he now lives at the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, and is available for adoption. At 2 years old, this super smart furball acts more like a dog, and has learnt how to to "sit", "drop", "come" & "paw"! If you're seeking a bright, engaging companion who will keep you on your toes, Hawk is eagerly waiting to meet you!
Meet Ziggy!
At 8 months old, this stunning Cream Golden Retriever, has made incredible strides in Brielle's training program! His biggest challenge was his over-eagerness on the leash, often pulling to explore. Brielle patiently worked with Ziggy, calmly correcting his pulling and teaching him how to walk nicely on a loose leash. Now, walks with Ziggy are a more enjoyable, filled with relaxed sniffs rather than a tug-of-war. He's a testament to how positive training can make a huge difference in daily life!
Meet Eli!
This precious Yellow Labrador Retriever holds a very special place in our hearts. Eli was Brielle's very first Seeing Eye Puppy, making his journey truly unforgettable. Eli's main challenge during his training was his boundless excitement around other dogs, which often caused him to lose focus on his tasks. Brielle poured her heart into teaching him to manage these distractions calmly and stay attentive. We are overjoyed to share that Eli is now a successful guide dog making a humungous difference in the life of a young man in Rhode Island. He's living his best life, and we couldn't be prouder!
Meet Bruce!
This cutie is a 1 year old Husky mix! Bruce and Brielle worked together weekly for about a year, focusing on his ability to maintain focus in public and distracting environments. Through patient repetition and tailored strategies, Bruce has made incredible progress. He's now a pro at tuning into his handler even amidst bustling crowds, other dogs, and tempting smells. Bruce's journey beautifully illustrates the power of consistent training for a well-behaved and reliable companion!
Meet Lizzy!
At just 4 months old, this sweet Border Collie mix, rescued from the streets, started her journey with us. Understandably, Lizzy arrived with a deep fear of loud noises and unexpected large movements, which could be quite overwhelming for her. In her program, Brielle provided a safe, structured environment, slowly helping Lizzy to overcome these anxieties. With gentle guidance and positive experiences, Lizzy has shown remarkable courage! She's now much more relaxed and confident. Soon after training Lizzy was adopted into her very own furever family, proving that even a fearful past can lead to a bright and brave future!
Meet Bordeaux!
This magnificent 4 month old Lab x Great Dane mix played a big role in showing Brielle exactly how much she loves helping animals in need! When Bordeaux and his sister Lille arrived, having spent their entire lives with their mother and littermates, they were understandably very anxious and stressed in their new environment. His anxiety only intensified a few days later when Lille moved to her own foster home, showing as strong separation distress – he absolutely hated being crated or gated, even resorting to climbing gates to get to Brielle! Brielle dedicated herself to helping Bordeaux build security and trust. Through consistent, patient work, and a focus on building his confidence, Bordeaux learned to be calm and truly understand that his people would always come back to him. We are overjoyed to share that this sweet, resilient boy found his perfect furever family, where he is now spoiled rotten, just as he deserved to be!
Brielle's 8-week puppy training program focuses on building a strong foundation through clear communication and basic obedience, socialization through exposure to various environments and other dogs, and good manners by teaching leash walking and preventing unwanted behaviors. The program is tailored to each puppy's needs and learning style, ensuring your puppy becomes a confident, well-behaved companion. For more information click here.
