I am S M A Bin Al Islam, a Research Scientist at Amazon.com. I am working with the Amazon Robotics team in North Reading, MA. I received  my PhD in Civil Engineering (Transportation Systems) from North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2021. Prior to join NCSU, I worked as a Research Associate on a Department of Energy funded research project in Oak Ridge National Lab. I earned my Masters in Civil Engineering from Washington State University (WSU) on 2017 and Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on 2014.

I love to watch and play soccer. I am an avid traveller. I also love cooking, reading, and gardening.
