Sign Language Generation and Recognition

This project is a simple sign language generator program that uses HTML and Javascrpt. Download the directory, and simply open the HTML file to run it. Since it uses images in a sub directory, you may need to allow your browser to load those images.

This project does sign laguage recognition. To run it, follow the instructions in this file. This is the second of the two projects metioned.

This runs best in a virtual environment, Creare with:

python -m venv .venv

pip install -r requirements.txt

Activate and run.

.venv/Scripts/activate

python signlanguage.py

Voice Replication

This project uses a recorded sample to convert text to speach in the same voice as the recording. The benefit is that the process of changing the content and getting a a new version is possible without the need for a recording studio, or editing audio files. Here we make use of the pocket tts project to generate voice.
