The Self-Learning Module (SLM) is prepared so that our dear learners can continue their studies and learn from the comfort of their homes. Each SLM is designed with a range of activities, questions, directions, exercises, and discussions carefully outlined to help them grasp each lesson effectively. These modules consist of various parts, each of which serves as a step-by-step guide as they explore and comprehend the lessons provided.

Pre-tests are included to assess their prior knowledge of the lessons within each SLM. This helps determine whether they should proceed with completing the module or seek assistance from their facilitator or teacher for a better understanding of the lesson.

Upon completing each module, learners are required to take a post-test to self-assess their learning. Answer keys are provided for all activities and tests, and we trust that they will use these resources with honesty.

In addition to the material in the main text, "Notes to the Teachers" are also provided to facilitators and parents, offering strategies and reminders on how they can best support home-based learning.

We encourage learners to read the instructions carefully before undertaking each task. If they have any questions about using the SLM or encounter difficulties in answering the tasks, they should not hesitate to consult their teacher or facilitator.
