Siri Shortcut Download Twitter Video

The shortcut I used to use to download videos on X/Twitter is no longer working. I know Elon changed some rules for the API. Is there a shortcut that currently works with the new version of X/Twitter.

It's been a long time since I posted an update for my shortcut which arguably is the most reliable and popular Twitter Downloaders out there. I thank you all for your support and for using my shortcut.

To get the Twitter Video Downloader shortcut on your iPhone, head to tvdl.app in your browser, then tap either "Get the Shortcut" to get the latest version of the tool or tap on "TVDL Max-Quality" at the top to get the version that will give you the highest video quality possible by default.

Aside from these prompts, you'll only have to choose one option: the video's quality. You can select from high, medium, or low. If you're using the MAX-Q version of the shortcut, it will choose the highest by default.

I know how to fix this! If you go to your shortcuts and change the browser in the action to safari it will stop displaying the prompt. The browser that opens will still be chrome as long as you have it set as your default browser.

You can enable the toggles in settings > Privacy > HomeKit after allowing the first allow prompt for shortcuts in Apple watch. After enabling HomeKit toggles again Apple watch shows this "Allow to share data with (null)" only once for shortcuts.

You can use shortcuts in your X app through a bluetooth keyboard connected to your iPhone or iPad. Additionally, you can use the Smart Keyboard or other compatible keyboards for your iPad. Tip: on an iPad, hold down the command key to see the full list of available keyboard shortcuts.

This Siri Shortcut starts with the Cardhop shortcut to copy the currently visible contact as a URL. This will allow you to quickly jump back to that contact in Cardhop later on. Cardhop URLs look something like this:

Once you have the shortcut on your iPhone or iPad, open a contact in Cardhop and trigger the shortcut. It will create a new note with a link to the contact in Cardhop. Now you can write notes, add checklists, or add photos and quickly jump back to the contact in Cardhop!
