By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the Terms Of Service below.
My commission slots are done through personal contact and a waitlist. You can contact me through DM or email. My slots are first come first serve. I setup waitlists for those unable to grab a slot.
PAYMENT
Commissions will be paid 100% upfront, OR 50% upfront and 50% at the end before I send any final files. (Unless I specifically state otherwise). If you chose the latter option, any previews sent of your commission will be watermarked with my logo. Physical art will only be shipped after full payment is received.
I accept payment via E-Transfer or PayPal only.
All of my prices are in CANADIAN dollars.
I will only start your commission once it'd been paid for. If you cannot pay within 3 days of claiming a slot, I will re-open the slot to be filled by another client. If you chose to pay only 50% upfront, as long as the 50% is received, this will count as "paid" for the sake of starting the piece and reserving your slot.
If you've commissioned me for physical traditional art, you will be expected to pay shipping fees if you cannot pick it up or aren't in reasonable drop-off range.
REFUNDS
If I have started your commission and have not gotten past the sketch stage, you are eligible to receive a 75% refund. This is due to the material and time cost. However, at any stage past the sketch, you will not be eligible to receive any refund unless I state otherwise.
If I feel you are being uncooperative, or causing me any discomfort I can and will state that I no longer wish to work with you. You will be refunded a percentage based on my decision of how much work I've already done.
PRICING
My prices are based on my experience, the tools I use and how long certain pieces takes me.
My prices are subject to change whenever I deem necessary. However, if you are on my waitlist and my prices update, you will not be forced to follow the updated pricing.
Please do not question my pricing, I'm comfortable with what I charge and I only charge what I feel is fair. Arguing prices will get you blacklisted from commissioning me.
You are more than welcome to tip me if you so please, however, this is not necessary by any means. Tips are sincerely appreciated.
WHEN COMMISSIONING ME
My slots are on a first come first serve basis, whoever pays first will have priority in the queue.
I'm very communicative, I like to update clients when I begin their work and as I'm working. I like to get client approval throughout the stages, however if you'd prefer I don't message you so often please feel free to ask for fewer updates.
Please understand that while I treat my art as seriously as I'd treat any professional job, I have a life and job outside of my art and emergencies/unexpected events can occur that can potentially delay your commission. I will always do my best to inform clients of potential delays but I ask for your understanding when these things do occur.
When your commission is finished you are allowed to share the piece online/get it printed onto different things as gifts and such. I only ask when you share photos online - give me credit or leave my signature visible. Please bear in mind you are NOT allowed to re-sell my art in any form of way. If you want to sell my designs/images on other items you'd have to contact me for business means and not personal commission means.
Please also note that while I often keep digital versions of all my art, I'm not responsible if you lose your file. If I have the file on me I'm happy to re-send it, however, if I do not have it, I cannot re-create it for you for free. Once the digital file is sent, it is your own responsibility to keep track of it and take care of it.
Any physical art will be scanned in High Quality prior to shipping in the case of an accident. I cannot re-create physical art for free if damaged during delivery. Utmost care will be put into proper packaging for any physical art. I recommend you avoid bending any physical art packages and removing any waterproof packaging until you have a frame/place for it prepared. This will reduce the risk of smudging or staining your one-of-a-kind piece.
If you have any other questions, concerns or inquiries, please feel free to contact me through any of my social media or through email at brennagardiner@gmail.com
