The importance of being spirituspirituallylly fit is to be able to discern the Truth, there are many teachings out there that contradict God's holy word. This mainly happens because most people refuse to get the context or trust the source that they have been getting it from. What if we were just to say, "OK I understand that this is what I believe and does scripture back it up, am I getting everything in its context, and am I using cop out answers such as well I'm not a preacher and well who can completely understand God so why bother since we just need to believe in Jesus...
