Singalong with Singing Gwen is a joyful and interactive music class designed especially for toddlers and pre-schoolers, with a gentle focus on nurturing early speech and language development through song.
Thoughtfully Structured Classes
Each session follows a familiar, reassuring rhythm with a fresh weekly theme to keep children engaged and learning.
Nurturing, Calm & Personal
All the joy and energy of larger music classes — without the overwhelm. A warm, welcoming environment where every child is seen.
Rooted in Early Years Development
Carefully designed to support speech and language skills, with a focus on listening, identifying, and repeating sounds.
Building Brains Through Music
Children expand their vocabulary, follow simple instructions, and develop emotional literacy — all through joyful musical play.
Songs for Every Moment
From transitions to tantrums, we’ve got a (magical!) song for that. Practical tools you’ll take home and actually use.
Tailored for Every Stage
Baby class: gentle bonding, rich sensory experiences, early communication.
Big class: perfect for siblings and mixed ages — ideal for childminders or families with more than one child.
Ready for School (and Life)
We help children gain the confidence to join in, speak up, and shine — setting them up beautifully for school and beyond.
Cherished Memories
Above all, your child will carry with them the joy of music, meaningful connection, and moments that matter.
From September 2025 I will be running weekly classes in Thornborough Village Hall.
This is a beautiful, recently refurbished space which is used by a variety local groups, as well as the infant school. It is very conveniently located if you are near Buckingham, Brackley, Towcester or Milton Keynes. (Postcode: MK18 2DF)
I also run monthly classes in two Care Homes:
Lace Hill Manor Care Home and Clarendon House Care Home in Buckingham. These sessions provide a fabulous opportunity to focus on Singalong's nurturing, community focused heart. At our intergenerational classes with residents of the care home, we share instruments, props and songs with the very young and the very old. The benefits of mixing the ages are huge to both generations and I am delighted to be able to share this opportunity! The care home kindly subsidise this session, so ticket prices are hugely reduced.
Booking is available through Happity.
Block booking for a half term is £5 per class plus a single 50p surcharge for fees.
Pay As You Go is £6 per class plus 25p surcharge for fees.
Care Home sessions are a steal at just £3.15 per child!
Sibling discounts are available, and childminders are welcome to use this too.
I am a primary school teacher by training with over ten years' experience in the classroom. I am also a classically trained singer - a winning combination for a children's music class! When my third child was born in 2019, I decided the time had come to follow my long-held desire to work with even smaller children and share my love of music (and being silly!).
If you have a child who needs extra help in any way please do not hesitate to contact me to see how I can make the class accessible and fun for everyone.
"Thank you so much for the songs, the care, the interaction and your kindness..."
