Singer commenced manufacturing of refrigerators using environmentally friendly R600a gas through its subsidiary Regnis (Lanka) PLC . Regnis is among the first in South Asia to adopt this technology.

Singer opens 400th retail store.

Singer Finance VISA Credit Cards In 2015

Singer Finance launched VISA credit cards. Singer Finance created history as the first non-banking financial institution in the country to launch an internationally accepted credit card.

Acquired By Hayleys PLC In 2017

Singer (Sir Lanka) PLC was acquired by Hayleys PLC from Retails Holdings (Sri Lanka) BV.
