We aim at organizing the event according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings. We are committed to resource efficiency, waste management, and socially responsible planning.
What this looks like in practice:
Smart Mobility: we encourage travelling by train, using local public transport ticket, and offer cycling support.
Waste Reduction and Management: waste sorting is obligatory at Uni Graz and the OC of SinFonIJA 19 is commited to reducing non-recyclable waste of the conference to zero.
Paperless Event: we aim to minimize printing; it is recommended to use slides for your presentation and consider printing your poster in Graz.
Local Flavors: the page Hotels and restaurants has information on businesses certified with the Austrian Ecolabel for Tourism.
