Digo Apps ("we", "us", or "our") built the Sindit app as an ad-supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Digo Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses this Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

Photos and media you edit. Sindit lets you edit photos, add Sinhala/English text, stickers, filters, and create memes, templates, and quotes. The images you select and edit are processed entirely on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Our on-device features — including AI background removal and AI art styles — run locally on your device. Saved images are stored in your device's gallery/storage under your control.

Content you view. Stickers, meme images, templates, and quote layouts are downloaded from our content servers (Google Firebase) so they can be displayed in the app.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, certain information is collected automatically by us and by the third-party services we use, including:

• Device information (device model, operating system version, language, and similar technical data).

• App usage and diagnostic data (features used, crashes, performance, and the date/time of use).

• A mobile advertising identifier (Advertising ID) and related data used to serve and measure ads.

• Log data, including your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address and app configuration when an error occurs.

We use this information to provide, maintain, analyze, and improve the Service, to display and measure advertising, and to keep the app stable and secure.

Advertising

Sindit is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob to show ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads). AdMob and its partners may use the Advertising ID and related data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure their performance.

Your choices:

• You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads (reset advertising ID / opt out of ad personalization).

• Sindit also offers an optional reward that removes ads for a limited time.

Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Where required by law, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before serving personalized ads. You can change your consent choices later from the in-app consent options (where applicable).

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Links to the privacy policies of the providers we use:

  • Firebase Analytics — usage and event analytics.

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (app updates, tips, and announcements). You can disable notifications in your device settings.

  • Cloud Firestore / Cloud Storage — delivering sticker, meme, template, and quote content to the app.

These third parties may access certain information to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to use it for any other purpose.

Log Data

Whenever you use the Service, in the case of an error we (through third-party products such as Firebase Crashlytics) collect data and information called Log Data. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of use, and other statistics. This helps us diagnose crashes and improve the app.

Cookies and Identifiers

Cookies are small data files used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not use cookies directly. However, third-party code and libraries used by the app (such as advertising and analytics SDKs) may use device identifiers (like the Advertising ID) to collect information and improve their services.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above so they can perform services on our behalf (such as serving ads, analytics, crash reporting, and content delivery), and where required by law.

Data Retention

Photos you edit remain on your device and are not retained by us. Diagnostic, analytics, and advertising data are retained by the respective third-party services in accordance with their policies for as long as needed to provide and improve the Service.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights (EEA / UK)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time. Our legal bases for processing include your consent (for personalized ads) and our legitimate interests (to provide, secure, and improve the Service). Children's Privacy

Sindit is intended for a general audience and does not address anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we learn that a child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
