Event Scheduling Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Sinclairville Heritage Hobby Farm for your upcoming event! We’re excited to bring the joy of goats to your celebration. Please read through the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking an event with us, you agree to these terms.

Rental Package and Pricing

• Standard Rate: $350 for a minimum of one hour, which includes up to 3 goats. 

  • • Additional time added for $250 per hour thereafter.

    • Kids are available from May - July and will only be scheduled as available. 

  • Additional Goats: $50 per goat, per hour.

  • Day Old Chicks: Can be added for $50 (minimum of 10 chicks will come along). 4 weeks notice is required for chick rental

  • Travel Fees: Travel fees are additional and vary based on location. A travel fee estimate will be provided at the time of booking.
    
    
    

Travel Fees

• • Travel fees are determined based on the distance from Sinclairville Heritage Hobby Farm 

  • Travel fees cover mileage, transportation time, and any necessary travel-related expenses.

  • A specific travel fee estimate will be provided prior to finalizing the booking.
    
    
    

Booking and Payment

• • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the event and must be paid before the setup begins.

  • Payment methods accepted:

    • Cash

    • E-Transfer
      
      
      

Supervision and Safety

• Adults must always supervise children while interacting with the goats.

• Goats are friendly, but they are still animals. Please approach the animals calmly and gently.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring all guests follow safety guidelines during the event.

• Feeding is allowed only with prior approval and under the supervision of our staff.

Event Setup and Environment

• Required Space: A clean, shaded, and secure area is required for the goats. 

• Water Access: Goats require access to clean water.

• Parking and Setup: Adequate space for unloading and parking is required for efficient setup and takedown.

Weather and Cancellations

• In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, high winds, extreme temperatures), we reserve the right to reschedule the event at no additional charge.

• Client Cancellations: If the client needs to cancel, a refund will be provided for any amounts paid beyond the deposit, provided notice is given at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.

Liability and Indemnification

• The client agrees that Sinclairville Heritage Hobby Farm and its staff are not responsible for any injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during the scheduled Event.

• The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sinclairville Heritage Hobby Farm, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or lawsuits arising out of the client’s use of the rental services.

Media and Photography

• By receiving this agreement, the client grants Sinclairville Heritage Hobby Farm permission to take photographs or videos during the event for promotional and marketing purposes unless otherwise notified in writing.
