Simwraps began as Bobby Jonas Graphics in 2003. Lead designer Bobby has been doing race car designs since childhood and started with paper and crayons and moved to computer based designs for the early NASCAR Papyrus PC sims. In 2003 Bobby got the opportunity to work with some real companies and teams which would lead up to his designs opening doors for him in 2004. During the 2004 NASCAR Season he worked with a few small budget teams on different concepts. One of which lead to a spot on Morgan Shepherds' NASCAR NEXTEL Cup team. This experience would prove just the start he needed. A few weeks later his concept that was submitted to Nelson Lagasse Racing of the ASA Series would lead to a meeting that start a pairing that would last over 20 years and many paint schemes for Driver Scott Lagasse JR.
2017 saw a name change from Bobby Jonas Graphics to Jonas Graphics. Streamlining the name and logos were a big change then and made much sense from a decal and logo standpoint. While real racing designs counited, sim racing was growing even more popular.
2020 would see major change with Jonas Graphics giving way to the current branding of Simwraps. During the 2020 pandemic, Sim racing saw a huge spike, the name change was a nod to the new influx of sim racing paint schemes being made but still keeps in line with the wraps of modern on track race cars.
2025 Would mark a major milestone, for the 1st time a Simwraps designed car would come as a playable paint scheme in a Major game release, iRacing's NASCAR 25 for Playstation, XBOX and PC. It featured the paint scheme from the ARCA Series driven by ED Pompa, a long time partner.
2026 will once again see Simwraps designs hit the track virtually as well as real life in the ARCA Menards Series at Daytona. In iRacing we will continue to work with Tifosi Racing and the iRacers Lounge Podcast.
