I like to give my sims a full life. But at the same time having the life spans set to super long and maxed out feels too long. But the default times is really much too short. Trying to figure out what is the best life span length for my sims so it still gives them the chance to live their lives, actually reach their lifes goals, but still leaves enough room for error if the sim fails too often, or something.

i like playing only one household at a time on any given save as it feels more real that way for me so i can up with a sort of realistic lifespan and wanted to make sure my calculations where ok (i use mccc to set the lifespans so it will only be possible on a computer)

If there's one gameplay aspect in The Sims 4 that EA seems to have ignored for too long, it's pregnancy. And yet, pregnancy is such a crucial part of a game that essentially simulates life. For those who want to build their families from the bottom up, it can get super repetitive and tedious to play with the same, predictable settings.

Thankfully, tons of modders have chipped in to create realistic mods that make the game a million times more immersive. Players wanting to spice up their family gameplay should definitely grab a few of these pregnancy-enhancing mods for their next legacy or family playthrough. Here are a few essentials dedicated Simmers shouldn't miss out on.

Players who don't like this brief pregnancy period can download a mod to change the pregnancy timeline. This figure can be tweaked all the way to 147 days, which can seem excessive but certainly is pretty realistic if players want to emulate these lengthy pregnancy periods.

Players will no longer be able to just know from specific cues if their Sim is pregnant, such as certain idle animations like thought bubbles with baby items or appearing nauseous. This adds a lot of excitement and anticipation to gameplay, and it's also realistic in the sense that pregnancy isn't always easy or straightforward to detect.

The moodlet system in The Sims 4 is a genius addition to the game, making it more interesting to control Sims. However, pregnancy often gives powerful positive moodlets that last for days and aren't necessarily always realistic or helpful in terms of immersive gameplay, especially when a Sim is having their third child.

In the real world, pregnancy isn't easy for everyone to achieve. Some families try for years without success, while in The Sims 4, having a child can seem ridiculously easy. Thanks to the Cycle mod by NeonOcean, pregnancy in The Sims 4 becomes more realistic and challenging.

Pekesims fixes this issue by introducing the possibility of even more babies with this The Sims 4 pregnancy mod. Be warned, however, that raising this many children is going to be a major challenge, but at the same time, it really does make things a bit more interesting. For extreme family players only.

With this little pregnancy mod by LittleMsSam, the birth certificate can also be gained through the rabbit hole interaction. Moreover, it can be renamed, and it'll be slightly different depending on which life state the born Sim represents. That means mermaids, vampires, and even spellcasters will have unique certificates.

This is a great, versatile mod for any Simmer, not just those looking to make pregnancy and family gameplay more realistic. However, it does allow the player to introduce varying lengths of pregnancy and even some mood swings to spice things up in the household.

Definitely not designed for those under the age of 18, Wicked Whims makes the love life of Sims much more realistic. However, it's not just for new animations and interactions that this The Sims 4 mod by TURBODRIVER is great. It also has some features related to pregnancy.

For one, the mod introduces menstrual cycles, fertility treatments, birth control, and even pregnancy termination services. Sims can also measure their level of fertility if they're looking to conceive and want the highest chances. For realistic gameplay, the mod definitely does a lot, if players can get past the NSFW parts.

Not at all pregnancies are obvious. In real life, surprises take place all the time, and it can make for really great storytelling to have that same aspect of surprise in a game as well. In past Sims games, this was very much the case, as there was no option to take a pregnancy test.

Zafisims' mod changes pregnancy so that a Sim can finally experience a range of realistic mood swings related to their heightened, hormonal state. A player can pick from angry, embarrassed, sad, tense, or uncomfortable, each with either a +1, +3, or, +5 effect on a Sims' overall mood.

It can be a bit irritating to see a Sim grow a massive belly and then simply return to their previous size once they've given birth. A real pregnancy tends to leave markings that stay for a lifetime, which is what Katybug273 introduces in their Stretch Marks mod.

The Sims 4 might not be the perfect life simulator, but it gets pretty darn close - especially with how it handles pregnancy. Your Sims stories need to continue on, and the only way to do that is your Sims getting pregnant and carrying on their legacy.

Life is pretty cool and all, but wouldnt it be easier if we all lived in The Sims 3? Since the first game launched in 2000, the human simulation series has been giving gamers the opportunity to indulge their whims, no matter how unrealistic, mundane, or even sadistic they may be (dont pretend youve never stuck a Sim in the pool and took away the ladder). Its that freedom that turns everyday tasks like going to the bathroom and making dinner into fascinating gameplay elements. Of course, The Sims isnt at all like real life - its better.

Were sure pregnancy is beautiful, magical, and full of wonder but wouldnt it be easier if kids went from conception to birth in 72 hours? Once again, The Sims beats real-life with a three-day pregnancy period. That means only one day of morning sickness and about a day and a half of needing maternity clothes, so theres no need to buy a pregnancy wardrobe you may never need again.

After an exhausting three-day pregnancy, a baby Sim is born! And in addition to picking his or her name, Sims with successful pregnancies can choose traits for the baby to start out his or her life. Maybe you want Sirius Batman to be an artistic genius, and Sapphire Dandelion to be neurotic and evil, just to balance things out. Not a problem! Even better, as long as they do well throughout toddlerhood and school, youll be picking their traits until they reach adulthood.

Another con to consider is that terminating a pregnancy in The Sims 4 may not accurately reflect the real-life experience of terminating a pregnancy. The game may simplify the process and not fully capture the emotional and physical toll it can take on a person. This can lead to a lack of understanding and empathy towards those who have gone through the experience in real life.

One aspect to consider is the impact that pregnancy termination in video games may have on players who have experienced a real-life pregnancy loss or termination. While some players may find it cathartic or empowering to have control over this aspect of their virtual lives, others may find it triggering or insensitive.

On the other hand, opponents of pregnancy termination in the game argue that it trivializes a serious and complex issue. They argue that the game should not be promoting or normalizing the idea of terminating a pregnancy, as it can have real-life consequences and emotional impacts on individuals.

vSim for Nursing provides students with a realistic, true-to-life clinical experience. The immersive virtual scenarios allow students to engage with 3D patients, testing their ability to recognize and analyze cues through unfolding visual and audio responses and by experiencing lifelike reactions. Students decide what actions to take in vSim for Nursing with the system adapting to student-driven decisions so they can see immediate cause and effect, strengthening their clinical judgment skills.

These mods create a deeper emotional connection with your virtual family. With realistic pregnancy mods, every step of the journey becomes more meaningful and engaging, allowing you to fully embrace the rollercoaster ride of pregnancy.

And there are so many great interactions! In addition to that, your sims can discuss adoption, talk about a new sibling with their existing kids, worry about providing for their baby, have tons of new pregnancy side effects interactions (like talking about the baby kicking or morning sickness), and children can even ask for a sibling! Too freaking cute.

Since this post is all about sims 4 pregnancy mods, I will not be diving into the birth portion of this mod. However, I talked extensively about it on my round-up of realistic sims 4 mods! You can also read the full mod documentation by PandaSama at the download link below! 2351a5e196
