1. Goals: promote the integration of education, research, and extension regarding the Veterinary field; encourage exchange programs and studying abroad as well as internationalization; promote activities of education, research, and extension developed by Veterinary students and professionals.
2.Will be accepted scientific papers, case reports and revisions of literature, as long as the theme relevance and manuscript quality are judged and approved by the scientific commitee. In case they are approved, they will be presented in the format of DIGITAL POSTER on the I GEPA UFJ SYMPOSIUM and on the 1st INTERNATIONAL GEPA UFJ SCIENTIFIC MEETING, on the web page of the event. All approved abstracts will be published in the scientific Report of the event.

5. The last day for submission of the extended abstracts will be November 7st of 2020, through e-mail only.
ATTENTION: After submitting the abstract, you will not be able to make any kind of alterations to it. Therefore, pay close attention and follow the orientations down below.

7. Each presenting author can submit, at most, two essays and must be signed into the event before or at the time the essay is sent. There are, however, no restrictions as to in how many essays each author is featured.
8. There can be a maximum of eight authors per essay.
ABOUT THE FORMAT FOR SUBMISSION
9. The essays must be submitted as an Extended Abstract in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.
10. Format Word (.doc);
11. Must be written with 1,5 cm of space, using font Times New Roman 12, in paper format A4, and on the left, right, top and bottom margins must be 2,5 cm.
12. The paragraph retreats must be made using the text editor’s ruler at 1,25 (and not using the TAB key);
13. The Extended Abstracts must be 3 to 5 pages long;

15. Structure:
I. Title;
II. Article authors (maximum eight);
III. Study Institution and e-mail of the authors;
IV. Keywords (3 to 5 words different from those in the title)
V. Main Text – Scientific Paper (must have the following sections: 1. Introduction, which has the contextualization, the problem being studied, and the goals of the article; 2. Methodology; 3. Results and Discussion; 4. Final Considerations or Conclusion; References);
VI. Main Text – Case Reports (must have the following sections: 1. Introduction, which has the contextualization, the problem being studied, and the goals of the article; 2. Case Report; 3. Discussion; 4. Final Considerations or Conclusion; References);
VII. Main Text – Revision of Literature (must have the following sections: 1. Introduction, which has the contextualization, the problem being studied, and the goals to the article; 2. Revision of literature; 3. Final Considerations or Conclusion; References);
VIII. References: For both, quoting in the text and on the item References, the format style from APA – American Psychological Association – must be used. The references must be complete and actualized. They shall be organized in crescent alphabetical order, according to the last name of the first author of the base text. They must not be numbered. The references must be in font size 12 and with 1,5 cm spacing.

16. In case the submitted essay is approved by the scientific committee, the presenting author must forward their work in the digital poster format, which shall be sent by e-mail (cientificogepaufj@gmail.com) until November 27th of 2020
17. The digital posters must be made following the template.
18. The digital posters must contain all of the sections of the Extended Abstract. The use of image resources such as pictures, graphics, charts, and tables is recommended. Images and graphics from other studies, from other authors, must have its origins quoted. The organizers of this event do not take responsibility for copyright issues.
19. The digital posters will be put on the web page of the event from December 1st.
