TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By accepting a quotation and agreeing to a service provided by SIMPLY CLEAN the client agrees to accept the general terms and conditions as listed below. These together with a letter/email of confirmation and a cleaning schedule, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
Service
For regular cleaning, the client agrees to take and pay for a minimum of two cleaning visits. After that the client is free to cancel at any time by giving a period of two weeks notice.
The duration of the cleaning services will be dependent on both the size and condition of the property. The client will be charged by the job not for the number of hours in the property.
SIMPLY CLEAN will clean the client's property on an agreed day/s of the week. At the client's request, the cleaning day can be changed, provided that at least 3 days notice is given and a vacancy exists on the proposed new cleaning day.
Additional cleaning services can be performed but needs to be agreed in advance, to schedule your additional requirements.
Valuables
SIMPLY CLEAN requests that you ensure that all extremely fragile and breakable items are removed or secured on the day that the service is provided.
Equipment and supplies
SIMPLY CLEAN will provide all cleaning materials, because of Health and Safety compliance concerning COSHH documentation of cleaning materials. If you wish that your own products are used, SIMPLY CLEAN are not liable for any damage to property as a result of using your own products.
The client shall ensure that there is access to hot water and electricity supply.
Health and Safety
Specialist equipment needed for non-standard heights are not provided due to health and safety constraints.
The client agrees to notify SIMPLY CLEAN if any person in the property is suspected of contracting an infectious disease. This notification must be as early as possible, but at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit. SIMPLY CLEAN reserves the right to cancel cleans under such circumstances.
SIMPLY CLEAN requires that pets are secured for the safety of personnel and of your pets.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
SIMPLY CLEAN guarantees the work, and will revisit a property to make good if you are not satisfied. SIMPLY CLEAN must be made aware of any dissatisfaction within 24 hours of the original clean.
6. Prices and Quotation
All prices quoted by phone, letter or via email will depend on the size and condition of a property and the schedule of work discussed. SIMPLY CLEAN reserves the right to amend any quotation given, should requirements change or due to any missing or incorrect information provided.
7. Payment policy
Payment can be made by, cash or bank transfer. Payment can additionally be made by standing order provided that this is agreed in advance. Payment collection will be paid prior to or on the day of cleaning unless otherwise agreed.
If payment is late you may be subject to additional charges.
If a client cancels or skips a regularly scheduled clean with less than one business days' notice, full payment for the clean will be charged and payment must be sent within 24 hours of the scheduled clean.
Clients will be charged with all costs associated with recovery of outstanding fees including bank charge, interest, administration fees, together with fees for debt recovery agencies and/or legal and court fees.
Payment for the initial clean with SIMPLY CLEAN will normally be collected on the day of the clean, unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
8. Liability
SIMPLY CLEAN reserves the right not to be liable for the following:
Not completing tasks which are not on the work schedule.
Any cleaning work carried out whilst a third party or other contractors are present.
Wear or discolouring of surfaces becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.
Failure to remove old/permanent stains or existing damage or spillage that cannot be removed or cleaned competely using normal cleaning methods with our materials and cleaning equipment.
Damage caused by faulty equipment/cleaning products supplied by the client.
Disposal of personal belongings at the end of tenancy clean.
SIMPLY CLEAN reserves the right to cancel the service
If the cleaning job is of a condition that is hazardous to health.
The client misrepresented facts or information.
9. Cancellations by the client:
A minimum of one cleans notice is required for any cancellation. If notice of less than one clean but more that 24 hours notice is given, the client is liable to 50% of our normal fee. If less than 24 hours notice is given, full payment for the clean will be charged.
10. Security
SIMPLY CLEAN agree to keep all clients details confidential and secure all keys in its care. If a key is given, please make sure your property is accessible. If your property is equipped with a security system, please ensure that you advise us of the entry code, or have it in the "off" position.
11. Public/Clients Holidays
Public Holidays- If your cleaning visit falls on a Bank Holiday, or during a holiday period, every effort will be made to re-arrange your service, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Clients holiday - If the client is going on holiday, SIMPLY CLEAN will offer a no fee cancellation of regular cleans provided that the client gives 7 days notice. If less than 7 days notice is given the charges in CANCELLATIONS above apply.
NB SIMPLY CLEAN will require up to 4 week holiday a year. SIMPLY CLEAN will give at least 7 days notice. No cover will be available during this time.
12. Insurance
Clients need to report to SIMPLE CLEAN any breakage/damage to property within one working day of the visit.
