For this project I had to find two examples one of hacking and identity theft that were reported in the media and I had to evaluate the articles I chose.
Lesson Learned:
I learned that hackers are always trying to find a way to steal information. That information could be NPI or a matter of National Security. I did not know that Google has a new search engine.

How is it written and presented? It is meant to inform the local residents and surrounding counties to be on alert for identity theft.

According to the article residents of Barnegat are the target of an identity theft phone scam in which con artists pose as officials or police in order to steal personal data. Locals may be duped into disclosing private information including Social Security numbers as victims of this scam. Avoid giving personal information over the phone be wary of unsolicited calls and confirm the legitimacy of calls by getting in touch with the company directly to guard against such scams. Additionally preventing identity theft can be achieved by using call-blocking tools and keeping up with typical scams.
The report draws attention to a serious cybersecurity problem: a pervasive Chinese hacker espionage campaign targeting U. S. government and private sector organizations. S. and other countries. The breach was intended to compromise security and gain access to private data. Governmental organizations as well as vital infrastructure sectors were impacted. Enhancing network defenses performing frequent security audits and exchanging threat intelligence across agencies are all advised by experts as ways to stop such incidents. Multi-factor authentication staff training and strong cybersecurity policies can also improve defenses against complex hacking attempts.

How is it written and presented? It is meant to inform working government officials, DOD, and the DOJ of potential hacking. It change passwords, encrypt emails, and to be on the lookout for phones being potentially hacked as well.
