Simple Feats is designed to record your running and walking history without tracking you.
Data Simple Feats stores
Simple Feats may store the following information locally on your device:
Route names
Route distances
Feat dates
Feat durations
Calculated pace
App preferences
Backup metadata
Stopwatch state needed for reliable timing
No signups
Simple Feats does not require you to create or register an account.
No GPS or location collection
Simple Feats does not request or use your location and does not record GPS routes.
No ads or advertising trackers
Simple Feats does not display advertisements and does not include advertising trackers.
No Simple Feats cloud database
Your running history is stored locally on your device. Simple Feats does not upload your routes, feats, or running history to a Simple Feats-operated server.
User-controlled exports and backups
Simple Feats creates CSV exports and Simple Feats backup files only when you request them. You choose where those files are saved or shared.
Once you save or share a file outside Simple Feats, its handling depends on the storage provider, email service, messaging service, computer, or other destination you choose.
Android system services
Android may provide system-level backup, device migration, notifications, file selection, and storage services. Those services are controlled by Android, your device manufacturer, and the accounts or storage providers you use.
Permissions
Simple Feats may request notification permission so the stopwatch can continue reliably while the app is in the background or the screen is off.
Simple Feats does not need location permission.
Data deletion
You can delete individual feats or routes inside the app. Deleting a route also deletes its associated feats after confirmation.
Uninstalling Simple Feats or clearing its app storage may delete locally stored data. Use the app's backup feature before doing so if you want to preserve your history.
Children
Simple Feats is a general fitness logging utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Health information
Simple Feats records activity information you choose to enter. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Changes to this policy
If Simple Feats changes in a way that materially affects privacy practices, this policy will be updated.
