Simple Fake GPS

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Fake GPS (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or

“our”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

By downloading, installing, or using Simple Fake GPS, you acknowledge that you

have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION ACCESSED BY THE APP

Simple Fake GPS is a utility application that allows users to simulate or mock

their device’s GPS location.

The App may access or process the following information:

a. Location coordinates

You may manually enter latitude and longitude coordinates to set a simulated

location on your device.

The coordinates entered by you may be stored locally on your device as part of

the App’s location history.

We do not transmit your entered coordinates or saved location history to our

servers.

b. Saved location information

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

- Latitude and longitude coordinates

- Optional location names entered by you

- Date and time associated with saved locations

- App theme preferences

- Other basic App settings

This information is stored only on your device using local storage or an

on-device database.

We do not operate a server that receives or stores this information.

c. Device and advertising information

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob and its associated advertising technologies may automatically

collect or process certain information, including:

- Advertising identifiers

- Device information

- IP address

- Operating system information

- App interaction data

- Advertising interaction data

- Diagnostic and performance information

- Approximate location derived from an IP address, where applicable

This information is collected and processed by Google according to Google’s

own privacy policies and terms.

2. HOW THE APP USES INFORMATION

Information accessed or processed by the App is used for the following

purposes:

- To provide the mock location functionality

- To keep a selected simulated location active

- To save and display previously used locations

- To allow users to rename, reuse, or delete saved locations

- To remember App preferences, including light or dark theme settings

- To display required notifications while mock location functionality is

  active

- To display banner and interstitial advertisements

- To maintain App stability, security, and performance

We do not use entered coordinates or saved location history for advertising,

profiling, tracking, or sale.

3. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following device permissions:

a. Location permission

Location-related permissions may be used to support the App’s mock location

functionality.

The App is designed to apply coordinates selected or entered by the user as a

simulated device location.

b. Mock location access

To use the main functionality of the App, you may be required to enable

Developer Options on your Android device and select Simple Fake GPS as the

designated mock location application.

This access allows the App to provide your device with a simulated GPS

position.

c. Notification permission

The App may request permission to display notifications.

A persistent notification may be displayed while a mock location is active.

This notification informs you that the App’s foreground service is currently

running.

The App does not use notification permission to send promotional messages

unless this is clearly disclosed and permitted by you.

d. Foreground service permission

The App uses a foreground service to keep the simulated location active while:

- The App is minimized

- You switch to another application

- The App is no longer visible on the screen

Android may require the App to display a persistent notification while the

foreground service is active.

These permissions are used only to provide the App’s functionality and are not

used by us to secretly monitor or track your real-world location.

4. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

Saved locations, optional location names, timestamps, theme preferences, and

other App settings may be stored locally on your device.

This locally stored information is not transmitted to us.

We do not have access to information stored solely within the App’s local

database on your device.

You may remove locally stored information by:

- Deleting saved locations from within the App

- Clearing the App’s storage through your device settings

- Uninstalling the App

Clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App may permanently delete all

saved locations, history, preferences, and other locally stored information.

5. ADVERTISING AND GOOGLE ADMOB

Simple Fake GPS uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial

advertisements.

Google AdMob may use technologies such as advertising identifiers, cookies, or

similar technologies to:

- Deliver advertisements

- Measure advertisement performance

- Prevent fraud and abuse

- Perform analytics

- Improve advertising services

- Personalize advertisements where permitted by applicable law and user

  consent

Depending on your location, device settings, age, consent choices, and

applicable laws, Google may display personalized or non-personalized

advertisements.

The collection and processing of information by Google AdMob are governed by

Google’s own privacy policies, advertising policies, and terms.

We do not control the specific information collected by Google AdMob or how

Google independently processes that information.

6. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or trade your manually entered location coordinates,

saved location history, or App preferences.

We do not directly share locally stored location history with third parties.

Information may be processed by third-party service providers integrated into

the App, including Google AdMob, for advertising, analytics, security, fraud

prevention, and service delivery purposes.

We may also disclose information when required to:

- Comply with applicable law or legal process

- Respond to a lawful request from a government authority

- Protect the rights, security, or safety of users, the public, or the App

- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues

Because we do not operate a server that collects your saved coordinates, we

generally do not possess such information to disclose.

7. DATA RETENTION

Saved coordinates, location names, timestamps, preferences, and settings

stored locally remain on your device until you:

- Delete the information from within the App

- Clear the App’s storage

- Uninstall the App

We do not retain a server-side copy of your locally stored location history.

Information collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google’s own

data retention policies.

8. DATA DELETION

You can delete an individual saved location through the App’s History screen,

where available.

You can delete all locally stored App data by:

- Opening your device settings

- Selecting Apps or Applications

- Selecting Simple Fake GPS

- Selecting Storage

- Choosing Clear Data or Clear Storage

You may also delete all locally stored App information by uninstalling Simple

Fake GPS.

Because we do not maintain user accounts or store your location history on our

servers, there is no separate server-side account deletion process for this

information.

9. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to design the App in a way that limits the

collection and transmission of user information.

Location history and App preferences are stored locally on your device.

However, no method of electronic storage, software operation, or data

transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including

using appropriate passwords, screen locks, operating system updates, and

security settings.

Third-party service providers, including Google AdMob, are responsible for the

security of information they independently collect and process.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Simple Fake GPS is not specifically designed or directed toward children under

the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Advertising shown to

users may depend on the App’s target audience settings, user location, consent

choices, and Google’s advertising policies.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us,

please contact us using the email address provided below.

11. USER CHOICES AND CONTROLS

You may control certain data practices through:

- Your Android notification settings

- Your device’s advertising privacy settings

- Google advertising settings

- Consent options displayed within the App, where applicable

- Deleting saved locations

- Clearing the App’s storage

- Uninstalling the App

Disabling certain permissions may prevent some App features from working

correctly.

12. INTERNATIONAL USERS

The App may be available to users in multiple countries.

Third-party service providers, including Google, may process information in

countries other than the country in which you reside.

Such processing is governed by the third party’s own privacy policies and

applicable data protection requirements.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may rely on services provided by third parties, including Google

AdMob.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party service

used by the App.

We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices, content, or

security procedures of third-party services.

14. DO NOT SELL OR SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell your manually entered location coordinates, location history,

or App preferences.

Certain privacy laws may define some advertising-related disclosures or

processing as “sharing” information for targeted or cross-context behavioral

advertising.

Where required, users may be provided with consent or privacy controls through

Google’s advertising systems or their device settings.

15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

- Changes to the App

- Changes to third-party services

- Legal or regulatory requirements

- Improvements to our privacy practices

Any updated Privacy Policy will be published on this page.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this document will be changed when the
