Last Updated: June 5, 2026
Welcome to Simple Easy Clean (the "App"), developed and provided by Yundou ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App, in compliance with applicable global privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).
1. Data Collection and Local Processing
Simple Easy Clean is designed as a local utility tool. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect, pack, or upload your scanned files, photos, or personal documents to our servers. All storage scanning, junk cleaning, and file management processes are executed entirely locally on your device.
2. Permissions Explained
To provide the core functionality of Simple Easy Clean, the App requires specific permissions. Below is a detailed explanation of what permissions we request, when they are triggered, and why they are necessary:
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Trigger: When tapping to view file directories or specific file types.
Explanation: Requested on devices running Android 10 and below. This permission is necessary to read files on your device's external storage so you can view and identify junk or obsolete files.
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Trigger: When entering file directories to perform a cleaning action.
Explanation: Requested on devices running Android 10 and below. It allows the App to write or delete files on your external storage during the junk removal process.
android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Trigger: When tapping to view file directories or specific file types.
Explanation: Requested on devices running Android 11 and above. Due to Android's scoped storage policies, this broad access is required for file management and cleaning apps to effectively scan across the entire file system and securely remove unnecessary files.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Trigger: Requested upon the first entry into the splash screen (no request upon entering the home page).
Explanation: Requested on devices running Android 13 and above. It allows us to send you essential notifications regarding app status and cleaning reminders.
android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
Trigger: When tapping to acquire cache information during the cache clearing process.
Explanation: Requested on devices running Android 6 and above. This permission is strictly used to access app usage behavior information so the App can analyze and identify accumulated cache sizes for system optimization.
android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZE
Trigger: Granted automatically without explicit user prompts.
Explanation: Used on devices running Android 5 and below to determine the size of installed applications for storage analysis.
android.permission.CLEAR_APP_CACHE
Trigger: Granted automatically without explicit user prompts.
Explanation: Used on devices running Android 5 and below to clear the cache data of other applications, freeing up device space.
android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES
Trigger: Granted automatically without explicit user prompts.
Explanation: This permission enables the App to initiate the uninstallation process for other applications when you choose to uninstall them through our App management feature.
3. Third-Party Services and SDKs
While we do not collect personal files, we integrate specific third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to serve advertisements, analyze App performance, and monitor crashes. These third-party services may collect automatically generated technical data (such as IP addresses, device identifiers, and crash logs). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for detailed information:
4. Children's Privacy
Simple Easy Clean is not directed at or intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions, such as the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete such information in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR-K.
