Tabata Timer for HIIT, includes features that let users:
Play personal music during workout sessions.
Choose custom sound effects for workout notifications (such as start, rest, or finish alerts).
To enable these features, the app may request access to audio files stored on your device.
On Android 13 (API level 33) and above, this is done through the READ_MEDIA_AUDIO permission. This permission is used only to:
Display a list of audio files available on your device.
Allow you to select music and sound effects for playback.
Support custom audio for different workout stages and notifications.
Once you select an audio file, the app may save the reference to it using a persisted URI permission. This means the app retains
access to that specific file — but only that file, and only with your consent — even after the app is closed or your device is restarted.
We do not collect, upload, share, or store your audio files or related data externally. All access and playback occurs locally on your
device, and your files remain private.
Granting this permission is optional, and you can continue using the app without it, though music and custom sound features may be
unavailable. You may also revoke this permission at any time in your device's settings.
Your workout and weight data are stored only on your device. We recommend backing up your device regularly to avoid data loss.
Since we do not store this data externally, we cannot recover it if the app is deleted or your device is reset.
This app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from
children under 13.
This app does not use cookies directly. However, some third-party services (such as AdMob or Google Play Services) may use technologies similar to cookies (e.g., device identifiers or tracking pixels) to personalize ads and improve services.
We value your trust in providing us data, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
