There are a lot of tools out there for taking notes. Most of them make the mistake of including too many useless add-ons. Especially when all you want to do is jot down a few simple reminders you want in one place so they're easier to find later. Simple Notepad is a reference in its field, and its hallmark feature is just how simple it really is.

The annoying issue I got is that when I open my x.txt notepad file everything is in line, organized, well arranged however when I do open it with notepad++ everything gets messed up. Here is a quick example (left notepad++/right notepad, same file)

Some of the files get the same view format and style in both notepad and notepad++ (probably they were created originally in notepad++?) however some of my other text documents get really messed into notepad++ and I just hate simple windows notepad when it comes to text editing.

Notepad is too simple. Notepad is actually a very practical function which could record some inspiration, requirements, Cubase can only simply record a few words. However, you can even put pictures in Logic notepad.

In addition, I hope to add some color, underline and other functions to facilitate reading.

As already stated, TextEdit is the notepad of OS X (although a more powerful notepad that is). For more advanced stuff, TextMate (already recommended) is very nice. A nice free and famous alternative is Bare Bones's TextWrangler.

I want to make an image with Google Chrome and NotePad++ installed with an image to speed up installing doing the job once well and using the image for multiple virtual machines instead of making for example seven virtual machines and installing Chrome and notepad++ seven times.

Today I decided to mess with the Notepad++ UDL v2.1.0.12 (User Defined Language). I made a simple syntax file for Notepad++ to fold code and comments.

I didn't "teach" it how to fold comments or which comments to fold, I used a notation to detect comments you want to fold.

It's really nothing too fancy, but it could be of use to someone editing HUDs, who currently doesn't use any syntax highlighting.

Also added some of the most common commands, like exec, bind, echo and some variables like tf_*, hud_* and fov_* for editing cfgs.

please make improve your ui design in notepad and give some animation on that it look more attractive to people and use also alarm for timing when user added a note put a timing on that it help you to do this work on this time and lastly i want to say add some feature like theme , sound recognition and add some different font in it
